Ngepi Camp Accommodation

Explore the wilderness in the comfort of our tree houses, bush huts, or camp sites.

Our camp, nestled near the B8 road, uniquely blends adventure and tranquillity. As you travel through rugged landscapes, the journey becomes an adventure, leading to our serene oasis. At Ngepi Camp, we pride ourselves on offering the world’s only hippo and croc cage diving experience, providing an exhilarating nature encounter. Besides this, we organize tranquil sunset boat rides and various excursions. However, our camp’s serene beauty often encourages guests to relax and absorb the peaceful atmosphere. We infuse our camp with a playful spirit and rustic charm. Features like riverfront bathtubs and creatively named bathrooms like DeVine Loos contribute to Ngepi’s unique and comfortable experience. Quirky signs scattered throughout the camp add a touch of fun, ensuring your stay is memorable.

Some Activities Include:

The Swirl

The Swirl is our luxury Tree House. As with all our other Tree Houses, The Swirl fits its tree structure naturally, not harming the tree during or after construction, and also designed to see the sun rise between your toes when lying in bed. The Swirl has an amazing river view, King Size Bed and a sky-light shower like no other. It also has a small kitchenette with basic self-catering equipment for 2 guests.

14 Treehouses

Our Tree Houses are uniquely designed to integrate with their host trees, ensuring no harm during construction. Positioned for optimal shade, they embody a symbiotic relationship with nature, recycling water and waste back to the trees.

3 Bush Huts

Our Bush Huts are nestled in the bush without a river view. Ideal for families, each hut features thatched roofing and two half-walled rooms - one with a double bed and the other with two single beds and an open-air bathroom. Surrounded by a private garden, guests can immerse themselves in nature.

20 Camp Sites

Our riverside campsites blend nature and convenience, featuring grassy areas, vehicle parking, solar power, and river water taps. Choose secluded Bush campsites for tranquillity under the trees. Enjoy our uniquely designed outdoor showers and toilets for a memorable touch to your camping adventure.

3 Overland Sites

Ngepi Camp's Overlanding Sites cater specifically to overlanders, offering essential amenities and natural beauty. These sites are perfect for travellers with overlanding vehicles, providing a comfortable and scenic base to explore the area's wonders, whether for a short stopover or a more extended adventure.

The Swirl
